| Cabin Description Experience mountain living in our original log cabin. Log and mortar construction throughout with some inside walls of log and mortar. The remaining walls are richly paneled and all floors are of wide-plank oak with area carpets. The living/dining room has a cathedral ceiling with exposed beams and wood laths. There is a soapstone fireplace in the living room. The large master bedroom has a private two person Jacuzzi and there is one additional bedroom and a full bath with tub/shower enclosure. The Kitchen is fully equipped and has a slate tile floor. The cabin has central gas heat and a raised deck with a charcoal grill/smoker and picnic table. The deck is surrounded by forest. A quiet, lovely getaway that is open year round with each season offering its own activity opportunities. The best thing you will find, however, is the peace and quiet of the mountains. A special place to renew your spirit and pamper or exercise your body, choosing from a wide selection of activities. Canoeing, tubing, kayaking, fishing, hiking trails, swimming, bird watching, horseback riding, sightseeing, antiquing, caverns and vineyards — it's all conveniently nearby.
