Luray Weather
We have couples who revisit this rustic A-frame cabin year
after year. It's exposed beams and hand cut paneling, the
large stone fireplace, oversized (2 person) Jacuzzi and 20
foot window wall set the stage for mountaineering at its
best. There's also a hand made spiral staircase to the loft
bedroom where you can soak in the Jacuzzi while looking
out the window wall to the Blue Ridge Mountains.
Downstairs, there is an L-shaped living room/dining
room/kitchen, a second bedroom and full bath.
It's fully carpeted and the colors are rich and warm. The
deck, which has been compared to a "tree house", has a
charcoal grill and picnic table for outside dining. Quiet,
lovely get-away that is open year round with each season
offering its own activity opportunities. The best thing you
will find, however, is the peace and quiet of the
mountains. A special place to renew your spirit and
pamper or exercise your body, choosing from a wide
selection of activities. Canoeing, tubing, kayaking, fishing,
hiking trails, swimming, bird watching, horseback riding,
sightseeing, antiquing, caverns and vineyards it's all
conveniently nearby.

Area Description
Nearby activities range from canoeing, tubing, kayaking,
swimming and fishing in the South Fork of the
Shenandoah River, to hiking and horseback riding in
Shenandoah National Park, Skyline Drive and the George
Washington National Forest,
to visiting local antique stores and flea markets, to touring civil
war battle fields, awesome caverns and nearby vineyards. Then
too, there is time for just propping up your feet and watching
and listening to the calls of over 100 varieties of local birds.
There is also guided fishing and hunting around Luray, VA.
